Huey von Heidelberg is so special; it is hard to try to describe a dog who is so charming and wonderful, with the sweetest disposition. He is just all about love. He sees anyone coming and his tail starts to wag, he loves other dogs, he is just out there enjoying life and loving everything. He met a feral cat and decided she needed her alone time, he was actually pretty terrified. Huey is 12 months and 80 pounds, he still may have some growing to do. He is easy to walk and wants so badly to please. Huey wants to be your best friend and your soul mate. Someone is going to be so lucky to add Huey to their family!

Per another volunteer:
Hughey- Hughey is a big boy, the best size for hugs.  He is very friendly and charismatic.  He wanted to greet everyone he met but was very polite about it.  If he couldn’t get close to meet a dog he would give the “let’s play bow” or just keep on wagging his tail.  He gave people his biggest and goofiest grin and tail wag until they came over to him to give him a pet.  He was very gentle when taking a treat.  Hughey liked getting his fur brushed and even turned around without being asked.  He was very calm around a barking, leaping dog.  We had a really fun walk.  He walks nicely on the leash; he only needs a little leash prompt to redirect him.  I think he gets the Guiness Book of World’s Records spot for most constant tail wagging for a German Shepherd.
